Engineering Analysis

CEL provides a comprehensive engineering analysis service using both commercially available finite element software programs such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, PERFORM3D, CSiCOL along with specialist in house software such as URM3DX.

Analyses include structural stress and stability analysis of buildings, structures and special structures using linear static, large displacement geometric non-linear, response spectrum, nonlinear pushover and time history analysis techniques. CEL also provides guidance and analysis reviews for engineering consultancies.

Stress, Stability & Seismic Analysis

Assessment of structural response and stability when subjected to seismic excitation extending from simplified linear methods such as Equivalent Static or Modal Response Spectrum analyses through to advanced nonlinear procedures such as Non-linear Static Pushover and Non-linear Time History methods.

Comprehensive stress and stability analyses of engineering structures using commercial finite element programs such as ETABS, SAP2000, PERFORM 3D, SAFE, CSiCOL, and TENT and specialist in house developed programs such as URM3DX - a program for the non-linear analysis of unreinforced masonry.

We specialise in the analysis and design of complex engineering structures with special loading conditions such as multi-storey and high rise buildings, staircases, dams, pipes, tanks, industrial plant and tension membrane structures.
