Westfield 277 Newmarket Seismic Analysis, Auckland, NZ

SEISMIC ANALYSIS FOR THE EXISTING 277 SHOPPING MALL FOR PROPOSED EXTENSIONS

Compusoft Engineering was engaged to undertake a seismic analysis for the Westfield 277 Newmarket shopping centre incorporating currently proposed works. The building is located in Newmarket with street frontages on Morrow St, Broadway and Mortimer Pass in Newmarket, Auckland. A series of seismic analysis models were created using the ETABS finite element analysis program to develop a set of seismic loadings to be used in the design of the additional works and the evaluation of all existing structural elements.
