Compusoft were engaged to provide a solution for the resonance problem of the turbine pedestal structure of the Poihipi Geothermal Project. Work included a review of turbine machinery operation, 3-D finite elements modelling, resonance analysis, and the evaluation of the flexibility of beam-column joints.
