CANTILEVER GLASS BALUSTRADE FINITE ELEMENT MODELING

Client: Metropolitan Glass Ltd.

COMPUSOFT ENGINEERING were engaged to undertake finite element modeling of glass balustrade configurations. In this study the deformations and stress flows within the glass panel generated by transverse line and pressure loading were evaluated. Stress and deflection levels were then compared with New Zealand code requirements.
