Project: FELTEX HOUSE PUSHOVER ANALYSIS, WELLINGTON, NZ

Client: Silvester Clark Consulting Engineers.

Feltex House is a reinforced concrete eight storey building constructed in the early 1970’s.

COMPUSOFT ENGINEERING were engaged to undertake a series of 'Pushover Analyses' to determine the seismic capacity of the Feltex House structure. Work included the calculation of the expected strength of each structural element, determination of failure heirachy, and a discussion of results that was to provide the basis of a seismic retrofit scheme for the building. Analyses were undertaken using the 3-D finite element analysis package ETABS.
