Project: Evaluation of the Inelastic Response of Buildings

Compusoft Engineering developed non-linear finite element models for a suite of reinforced concrete and structural steel multi-storey buildings. The building models were used for an extensive research project to develop provisions for time history analysis and parts and portions for the New Zealand loadings standard. Compusoft engineering work included development of building schemes, seismic analysis and design of seismic structure, generation of non-linear models and guidance to BRANZ on non-linear analysis.
