C1 Tower Independent Seismic Analysis, Christchurch, NZ

Client: OPUS International Consultants Ltd.

The C1 Tower is a 21 story steel framed structure that utilises a series of eccentrically braced frames to resist seismic actions.

Compusoft Engineering has been engaged by OPUS International Consultants Ltd to undertake an independent seismic analysis for the C1 TOWER development located in Christchurch with the aim of producing seismic design actions that will enable a design Peer Review of the structure to be completed. A seismic analysis has been undertaken using the ETABS Version 9 finite element analysis program, with the building geometry obtained from the architectural and structural drawings supplied by OPUS.
