Project: ASTCA PAGA PAGO SEISMIC ANALYSIS, AMERICAN SAMOA

Client: CUTHBERT ASHMORE CONSULTANTS LTD.

Compusoft Engineering was engaged by Cuthbert Ashmore Consultants Ltd to undertake the seismic analysis for the proposed Telecom Building to be located in American Samoa. A seismic analysis has been undertaken using the ETABS finite element analysis program in order to produce member actions for used in detailed design. Lateral loading is resited by a combination of EBF's, masonry, and reinforced concrete shear walls distributed throughout the 3 story structure. Seismic analysis was conducted in accordance with the provisions of ASCE Standard 7-05 'Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures'.
