55 Anzac Ave Seismic Evaluation, Auckland, NZ

Project: Seismic Evaluation of 55 Anzac Ave

Client: Gary Chester Consultants

Compusoft were engaged to carry out a seismic evaluation of 55 Anzac Ave, a 5 story RC frame building with masonry infill panels constructed in Auckland the 1920’s. Work included dynamic and pushover seismic analyses of the structure, and the assessment of element ductility demands and capacities. The evaluation demonstrated that the presence of infill panels did not cause the building to be “not safe” in earthquakes.
